About Melissa

Melissa Wall has been devoted to the practice of yoga for more than a decade. Initially drawn to yoga as a meditative practice of self-inquiry and reflection, she then completed her teacher training at Prana Yoga and Zen Centre in Vancouver. After receiving her certification in 1999, Melissa apprenticed with Shakti Mhi, for two years before diving into teaching as a full-time profession. Receiving her B.A. as a student of Cultural Anthropology and Sociology has enriched Melissa's unique approach to teaching yoga. She has continued to study with many yoga teachers from different traditions, including Angela Farmer, Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, Beryl Bender Birch, Seane Corn, and Cyndi Lee.
